I started Spark'd because I saw a need in US manufacturing

Meet the Founder | Amanda White

Many small, and plenty of medium-sized, manufacturers didn't have a team, or even one person, dedicated to the processes and systems that are not directly tied to production, but inevitably affect their ability to grow the business.

Specifically, I'm talking about marketing, sales enablement, recruitment, and CRM administration. Coincidentally, I'm also describing my first manufacturing job.

I was hired by a medium-sized machine shop to launch their in-house marketing effort. They had identified this as a need if they wanted to stay competitive, let alone grow. Over time, I also took over or launched other non-production activities that impact growth: recruitment, sales enablement, internal communication, and highly customized CRM administration.

What started as a "digital hub" where I could braindump what I've learned about the aforementioned topics has evolved into a full-blown agency that specifically helps those small and medium-sized manufacturers grow through strategic, non-production related activities that enable them to retain their current business and, more importantly, win new work.

The Mission @ Spark'd

Spark'd Marketing was founded to help American manufacturers in the hardware development space grow, thrive, and win.

US manufacturing is experiencing a renaissance, a return to its roots as the main driver behind our country's economic dominance, as well as an aspirational career path for each new generation that enters our workforce.

But even more important than the economic and workforce considerations, we're seeing a resurgence of the inventor.

Americans are making things again.

Brilliant ideas are being brought to life in the form of disruptive, physical technologies. It's an exciting time to be an ideator and a maker in the USA.

Hardware product development is more crucial than ever. Engineers and OEMs are looking for manufacturing partners, and Spark'd is partnering with manufacturers to help them build those relationships and grow their businesses to support that work.

From CRM implementation to automated marketing campaigns, Spark'd is suporting domestic manufacturers through business process development, systems building, and technical content marketing.

We believe that American ideas should be made in America, and we're doing our part to make that future a reality.
